How do I place a wholesale order?

Please request the order form and wholesale price lists via email to: info@costaricanmarket.com.

When you have your order form ready, please send it via email or to our fax (506) 2234-7524. Remember you are doing an international call to Costa Rica, so if for example, your are calling from the USA, please dial 011 + 506 + 2234-7524. If you have any trouble, please send us an email. We will be happy to assist you.

I am not able to view or print the Catalogs, Wholesale Price Lists and Order Form. What can I do?

The catalogs, wholesale price lists and order form have been saved in Adobe PDF format. To view and print Adobe PDF files please free download Adobe Reader software at: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

Do you ship directly from Costa Rica?

Yes, all products are shipped directly from Costa Rica.

Are products manufactured in Costa Rica?

Yes, all products from CostaRicanMarket.com are manufactured in Costa Rica.

What information do you need from me to start selling your products?

In order to be a wholesaler we will only need personal information such as your full name, telephone & fax number, business or home address. We would also like to know how are you planning to sell the products (store, fairs, etc).

How do you ship to the USA?

We offer different shipping alternatives:

UPS Expedited: All products are sent via UPS air freight from Costa Rica to Miami. Then, they are sent via "UPS Ground" to its final destination in the United States. This is a door-to-door service and is available to all the United States except Hawaii and Alaska. Estimated delivery for the UPS Expedited service is 3-4 days. Delivery time varies according to the state where it is being shipped.

UPS Express: You can choose to have your order sent via UPS Express service, which is a 24 hour service door-to-door.

Air Cargo: The other way of sending the products is by a regular airline, which is a 2-3 day delivery service. This is the only service which is not door-to-door. Depending on the size of the order a freight company has to be hired to clear the shipment out of customs at its final destiny.

We have negotiated special rates for our customers with all freight companies .

Is shipping included in the price of each item?

No, shipping is not included.

Do you have shipping costs estimates per item?

We do not have shipping costs per item.

If I have an order can you ship items to different locations?

Yes, items of the same order can be ship to different locations as long as the minimum amount per location is $250.00.

What percentage may I use to calculate my shipping costs?

Since shipping may vary according to each product, we would be happy to quote shipping for any order you may have.

Will I have to pay any duty, taxes and fees on my order at customs in my country?

Orders may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country ("Import Fees"). The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such Import Fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. These charges are always the recipient's responsibility. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.

What is the minimum amount per order for wholesale orders?

The minimum amount per order is $250. The minimum amount per product category is as follows:

Woodcrafts - $100
Wood Jewelry - $100
Gourmet Coffee - $100
Resin Products - $100
Banana and Coffee Paper Products - $100

You can combine the above (first five) product categories to complete the $250 minimum order.

Banana Fiber Products - $250
Wood Beads - $250
Coco Jewelry - $250
Chorotega (Guaitil) Pottery - $250

Do you request to order minimum quantities per item?

The minimum quantity per item per product category is as follows:

Woodcrafts – 4 pieces
Woodcrafts New Collection – See Price List
Wood Jewelry – 6 pieces
Wood Beads – 100 pieces
Gourmet Coffee – 20 pieces

Banana and Coffee Paper Products – 4 pieces
Banana Fiber Products – 6 pieces
Coco Jewelry – See Sets Available
Chorotega (Guaitil) Pottery – 4 pieces
Resin Products – 4 pieces

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, PayPal and Wire Transfers.

Do you have a suggested retail price list?

We do not have a suggested retail price list.

Are your prices FOB or CIF?

Our prices are FOB Costa Rica.

When will my wholesale order be ready?

Wood products usually need a production time between 4 to 6 weeks.
Banana & Coffee Paper Products usually need a production time of 2 to 3 weeks.
Rocking Chairs & Hammocks usually need a production time of 2 weeks.
Gourmet Coffee usually needs a production time of 1 week.
Resin products usually need a production time of 2 weeks.
Wood Beads usually need a production time of 4 to 6 weeks.
Coco Jewelry usually needs a production time of 2 to 3 weeks.
Chorotega Pottery usually needs a production time of 4 to 6 weeks.

How do I care for my wood products?

For long lasting beauty of your wood products please hand wash & dry immediately.
